Alberta Registries information in a Surface Title search includes official owners of the land, last transfer value of the land, and any encumbrances, liens and interest against the land. A Mineral Title search shows who the legal owners of the mineral rights are, as well as any encumbrances and interests against the mineral rights. Land titles records the ownership of all land in Alberta. Mortgages, caveats and all other encumbrances against property are also registered in this system.
